G'day Mick, I usually smoke Borkum Rif Cherry Cavendish as well, occasionally Erinmore Flake, or Dr Pat, now I have got onto the mentioned site will really have a good poke about, I had looked at a couple of pipe blogs elswhere and found out that the odd couple of tins every month or two generally does not excite the Fun Police, as I am only a light smoker, the odd stogie as well, should get a good variety over a twelve month period.
Cheers

Thanked: 983I checked out that site after I read your post, and I reckon I'm going to try some of that same tobacco. I just had a clay pipe of Dr Pat this morning myself, while reading the book 'Travels of Tramp Royal'. Damn now I'm going to have to go and take a photo for posting...

Sailor,
I got it off ebay from England recently, it was sold as Victorian era pipe, I have no reason to suspect otherwise. There is no makers name or marks that are to be seen. I agree, have never seen one like it. It smokes really well, and the tobbacy really lasts well in it.
Cheers
