    Thomas,

Now as you've tried Chocolate Flakes for some time, i'd like to know your opinion about it?
Navy Flakes are ok too. The only downside i could think of is that it always ends too soon!

    I often change my tobacco.
The Samuel Gawith series includes a lot of different flavors.
By my mind-I like all the brands I tried.
Yes the tobaccos by Gawith are expensive, but the flavors are galactic.

I would have to say that the Chocolate flake is quite good... As all the other American brothers say... "To bad we can't get it here"

Funny you mentioned the price. Here in the backwoods SG's aren't more expensive than other "medium" priced pipe tobaccos, say Rattrays, Petersons, MacBarens or Erinmores. For reasons i cannot understand, W.O. Larsens is damn pricey. In general, everything is pricey here but as i've compared our (pipe tobacco) prices to those you have in Germany or UK, there is not so big difference. And you have much better selection of everything. Just like in USA.
If i want to smoke something different for a change, i have to order from UK or Germany. Luckily our customs aren't so interested in tobacco shipments inside EU.

...and another evening walk with the dogs and the pipe.
Jirsa with a Special Latakia Flake of J.F. Germain & Son from Jersey, Channel Islands, Britain. Excellent.

As usual, this pic was taken at the neighborhood, by the remains of an old castle.
Built between 1100 - 1300 although some parts are much older.
The castle got seriously damaged by the attack of Danes at 1522 and it was ordered to be demolished during the Protestant Reformation in 1528 by the dude named Gustav I Vasa of Sweden (our King back then).
    Nowadays just abandoned ruins.
Well, what a historical off-topic of the day.

Just did a little conversion of Euro to Aus $. I wish we paid a little as 12 -14,50 Euro. We pay on average (and talking Euro) closer to 30 Euro for most pipe tobaccos here. Or $40 Aus on average (give or take a couple of dollars each way depending on the brand).
