Jon sent it to me bless him. I've had it for about a year now I think? It's such a great pipe for when your sitting very chill. I really need a rocker or a soft chair for vegging.

Since I have more than enough shaving crap. My razor hobby is taking a backseat to pipes and tobacco lately lol. Here is a new one I got at my local JR Tobacco, a Peterson Killarney. Going to try it out with some Squadron Leader later.Name: 20151006_164738.jpg

Oh and a nifty lighter too that comes with a little pipe tool. Now I need a cheap stand cause none of these pipes stand on there own. Any ideas?Name: 20151006_170012.jpg

I just use a couple of foldable individual stands for pipes in rotation, and a wooden box that I bought at a craft supplies and then lined with sheep skin, stores those that are out of the rotation.

Necessity is the mother of invention soooo.....buy a long or medium length shelf at Poor persons Mart and then buy some dried beans and a length of fabric. Sew up a long bean bag and lay it along the shelf, rest the bowls on the bean bag and the mouth stems will rest naturally against the wall........pipe shelf.

Well it's back to Indian Summer, 75 degree day and very sunny...

Today was a pipe full if Dan's Blue Note along with my wife's favorite pipe I own, a Italian Basket Briar that she picked out 18 years ago...

It a nice pipe, but it smokes better on some days than others... I'm still trying to figure out this tobacco... I think I need to order a tin and try it. The stuff I have is from a tobacco swap about 4 years ago and I'm not sure if it had taken on some other aromas and flavors when it was sent to me...

The Pilots glided into the landing zone today (Thanks Steph. Really wish something like that was blended a little closer to home. You came through again though mate. A big many thanks for that.) So I will post a little Potd at some point, since it makes a change from the regular Bork Riff Cherry Cav.

Simple mans dinner tonight, Beans, Bread, Butter and Hard Cider...

Then off to the barn with my MM Diplomat, Fancy Stem and Ole Shenandoah Barrel No.76... It's noted that this tobacco is " faintly reminiscent" of Lane 1Q, I guess I'll see...
