Thread: Pipe of the Day

Thank you sir. The picture of it on ebay was terrible and you couldn't tell much about it so I bid the minimum of $9.99 and got it. When it got here I was shocked that it was an older one and in the best shape of any 1930's Kaywoodie I've ever seen. The grain is very nice also. It's also one of the largest at about a group 5 Dunhill in comparison.
Sometimes you just get lucky:-)

Nice to see you back Gunner. I had wanted to ask you before about your thoughts on the Cross-Eyed Cricket you had mentioned some time ago. I've been giving it some thought but wanted to get some more opinions on it first. Now, my favorite combo

I tell you what the old Cross Eyed Cricket is good stuff. It has a Va base with a little less Latakia than usual. Some Va blends tend to rip your tongue up but this is very smooth compared to most. No complaints from the wife about the smell:-) I think most anyone who enjoys Va and or Latakia would enjoy it.

well may be done with my freehand. will smoke it a few days and decide weather to rework it.
