You could always use it as an excuse to by a second, or third or forth, and just leave it as is.

    Just saying.

Here's a photo of a pipe I bought 44+ years ago in Insbruck, Austria. I must have been about 17 or 18 at the time. I got into smoking pipes early. I remember sneaking out to smoke some corn silk with some friends long ago when the earth was young. I don't know how I managed to keep this pipe all these years with all the moving I've done and the number of times I've stopped smoking and given all my pipes away. But this pipe and my old Calabash have some how hidden themselves whenever the stop smoking bug hits me. Name: 20120106074521.jpg

I don't remember paying very much for this pipe. I always assumed that it was a cheap pipe that some gypse tinker played with. Still it gives me a good smoke and I enjoy it a lot.

    Trekker,

I've never seen such pipe before. That looks very unique and special.

It looks almost Byzantine to me. Over the years, the silver/tin patina has worn off in places and it looks like the tinsmith used copper.
