Merry Christmas everyone. It is officially (very early) christmas morning here. I've been up all this time assembling kids presents. A large play house kitchen set for the girls. Many tiny little screws and much swearing, but it looks great.

Here are some of the pipes I made. I make about 4 or 5 a year under the Name Kuziel Pipes
Each is begun with a solid block of Plataux briar and a solid rod of ebonite for the stem.

    Tsunami,

I've seen the pics of few Kuziel pipes before. They look real unique and artistic. Very nice work!

Really Beautiful work! I especially like the ones that are shaped like flowers opening up. Really organic shaping and flow. Very Nice indeed!

@Sailor - My repaired meer is due to arrive today--just in time for Christmas. A little Christmas present for me! It has been a long turn around because Dave at WBW is so busy. Given Dave's reputation and kindness, I am sure it will be worth the wait. He opened the airway as well and tells me this should smoke so much better, I may not recognize that it's the same pipe.

I'll post some pics soon, as requested....

Wow! Lol I guess they got around after all. I made absolutely 2 pipes this past year . It was not a very good year for creativity and I was learning how to checker wood so I can incorporate it into my pipe making. Also thought about making so briar scales for one of my razors. Think the end grain would look awesome.

ok, i now have a churchwarden, my family got me one for christmas, now i have to ask, does anyone know how to remove the metal stinger in the stem, i cant really be upset with them for buying one with it in it, they didnt know what to look for. i will let you know how it smokes. now to certain what to think of it, the packaging says made in china, so i can only assume that the bowl isnt briar, or anything close for that matter.
