I was bought up Anglican, I was even a Church Warden for a while, but then I realised it was just a club, and they had different beliefs than I.

Yes, my clothing problems are sorted. When I was young I wanted to be a hippy, and have home made woollen trousers dyed with nettles...
I am a peasant who has very few nice things. One pair of boots (presently), one pair of jeans, two pairs of trousers for work, three shirts, four dogs, an old car (with the back doors tied together with rope) an old house (but with some nice pieces of furniture).
Organised religion can provide a moral compass for some but iI don't think I need it. Too many nice things would take away the pleasure. I too have an old house, and used to always tun old cars, once my wife got pregnant and insisted on something newer and safer. Break out the nettle dyeds, though you might end up looking like catweasel.

Heard this one while standing in line at the grocery store. I said aloud, "Wow, REM! Haven't heard this in a coon's age." The little girl behind the cash register naturally had no clue what I was talking about and looked at me like a dog listening to bagpipes. Kids!

My hazy early 20s are coming back to me, just remembered that I really liked gong, and have discovered that daevid Allen is still going, met him once in Cheltenham after a gig, top bloke. Probably should be in competition with Rolf Harris as a long standing Aussie icon, must order myself some albums.

This one reminds me of summers past. I always get a laugh from listening to the Surf Punks. Some fine 80s summertime cheesy surf music.

I had to edit the post, and add the video of Agent Orange covering Pipeline. I alway liked the intensity of Agent Orange.

For ironing today listened to the Dresden dolls eponymous album. Amanda Palmer has some issues, but a great album.
