You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

Back in the 90s I lived next door to a band for a while. That can be either great or terrible depending on the band, but in this case it was fantastic. They were great guys and great musicians who filled my life with plenty of free live music from the basement next door. And as a bonus and old friend I hadn't seen for years and years used to stop by and jam with them. While the singer Damon has gone on to other things (solo work as well as the band "Nathan"), he just posted on Facebook that the Meanies are getting back together for a show in December. I wish I could be back home to catch that, but since I can't at least I can go on a bit of a nostalgia bender with the New Meanies (and until they had to change their name aka the Blue Meanies).

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. Live at Filmore East is hands down one of the five best albums ever recorded. If you can't find something you like on this album, odds are good you just don't like music

Today's inflight sound track was a collection of Funk and then Hard rock. Great views of the wilds of Mexico (Rugged mountains, snow, pine trees, rivers and lakes from 9500 feet across the central ranges enroute to Chihuahua. The Admiral enjoyed the view as well...

Marshall Tucker Band, "Can't You See."

Some fine guitar work in this classic song...

I'd like to contrast two very different interpretations of a song -- the first cut on the aforementioned album -- "Who Will The Next Fool Be?"

First, Bobby "Blue" Bland; followed by Jerry Lee Lewis.
