Last time I was bush the bloody birds were screaming all night...You know the ones I'm talking about, they literally sound like a woman screaming her last life's breath out. I can't think of what they're called now. Too tired. Going to bed myself.

Hmmmm, now you are tempting me to fire up the mp3 player, I love the partisan. I find Mr cave a bit hard going a lot of the time, but susanne is beautiful. Might be some bedtime listening to see what he did. The popular stuff like red right hand and wild rose I like. I seem to remember reading some of the angel and the ass or whatever the book was called but I didn't really like it.

Sorry carl, I didn't like it, it sounded like nick was out of time to the backing singers, or I am tired and a bit squiffy. Now I have to fire up the mp3 to purify my leonardness. Sleep well all.

No they are fair dinkum birds. Myself and two of my mates were the only people camping...But admittedly it was a bit of Banjo country where we were at

He wasn't out of time, it was meant to be like that. Jimmy Little used to sing like that too, and Frank Sinatra I believe...

I probably would not like their rendition either then . It was only what I thought. Don't be angry.

I've got KD on the brain now... This is from the same night as the last one I posted. Long story short: just before he was supposed to perform at the Juno awards (Canadian Music awards thing - kind of a Canuck Grammy thing) in his hometown of Winnipeg, Neil suffered an aneurysm. If you've ever seen his film Heart of Gold, he talks about it there. Anyway, KD Stepped in and did this stunning version of Helpless. What a voice.

And since all roads in my world tend to lead back to Neil, here he is himself with some friends. Among them is Patty Smith whose addition is, IMHO, amazing. Normally I cringe when people mess with great songs, but this is beautiful.

    Have a great weekend everyone!

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

They were playing Marty Robbins at the BBQ joint tonight, I can not get it out of my mind.
