Still remember some guy writing a great song about wishing he could meet Jimmy Buffett and have him give him a record deal...was hilarious!

    Thanks!

Looking for songs that have a lot of guitar like 3:30 in this...

You want guitar, then you have to listen to the classic guitar work of Robin Trowers and the Bridge of Sighs, an awesome concept album. First track starts it all off.

    Enjoy.

    Thanks Phrank.
I like that, and will be adding it to my collection. I think it would be good driving music, for some reason it makes me think of classic James Bond.

What I'm looking for now is something with that kind of higher pitched drawn out "whiny" electric, for lack out a better term.

Haven't posted this one up for a while. Great Tune. Some absolutely wonderful writing here.

OK - last try for the evening, another classic guitar player.

Give this a listen, sure you've heard it before, one of my favorites.

Not so much for drawn-out whiny guitar, but just for a mass of guitar in general, these guys come highly recommended. It is all instrumental and has been one of my go-to soundtracks for writing for years. Good stuff. And like so many other great bands, a shout out to Austin City Limits for introducing me to them.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Maybe another for HNSB and some classic guitar work, but either way a classic, turn it up for a song from Ten Years After:

RIP Duane. This guy had some pretty satisfactory guitar skills.

Dec 31st: a good day to look back on the year just passed, and ahead to the one to come. Also, a decent excuse to listen to the Decemberists.

Happy New Year my friends! Stay safe and have fun if you're celebrating tonight. See you next year.
