I stumbled upon some vintage Johnny Winter and I thought that I'd share;

Hell. Yes.
I came up in the punk/hardcore scene, and we used to make a lot of fun of MetalHeads (and as a result fight a lot; nothing more precipitous than a metal matinee and a punk main show or vice-versa in the same venue on the same day). The one metal band I ever felt had any credibility was Motorhead. And Ace of Spades is the crown jewel. Far as I care, on a 0-10 scale, every other metal band fails to register, and this blows the needle plug off of the dial. Fifty years old and I still sing it at the top of my lungs when I hear it comes up in the car on my iPod Favorites list. Don't care who has the bad luck to be with me at the time.
Just as good now as when I first heard it in high school. Thanks for the good times Lemmy. Bon Voyage.!! Enjoy the exquisite taste sharpening sharpening taste exquisite smooth. Please taste the taste enough to ride cutlery.

I think to appreciate this frolicking bit of fun a few things should be in place:
1. the lame beach movies of the 60's
2. any song about California being the Promised Land...like the classic California Sun
3. any record from the 50's that had talking in the recording in the middle of singing
Here goes, I hope somebody thinks this is as funny as I do:
"Call me Ishmael"

From the ashes of the crash that killed Ronnie Van Zant, Cassy Gaines and her brother Steve arose the Rossington Collins Band. Most of the previous lynyrd sknyrd members were on board. They chose a female singer named Dale Krantz to be the lead singer.
Here's a little bit about them. Personally I liked the music. And apparently Gary Rossinton liked ms Krantz as she is now Dale Krantz Rossington and sings background for the resurrected lynyrd skynrd band.
Not the best quality but an example of how they were Live.
I hope all will enjoy.Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.
