    A little 'non traditional' Christmas tune.

    Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.

    I've been listening to a lot of retrowave / synthwave recently. It's good background music.

    When I'm actually paying attention, I've had on The Doors a lot recently.

    IMHO this might just be the most beautiful song ever. LOVE the Mermaid avenue stuff.

    It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
    This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

    Aloha!

    I have been enjoying the sexy Canadian Jazz singer/trumpeter Bria Skonberg lately. She plays a mean Jazz trumpet, but I especially like her voice. It's a bit sassy and provocative.
    Yes, I'm smitten;

    As a Jazz Aficionado, I have noticed over the years that instrumental musicians that also sing, sing in a style that resembles very much their instrument. Chet Baker sang like he played the Trumpet. John Pizzarelli sings like he plays Jazz guitar, and Bria sings like she plays her trumpet. I'm talking "style" here not sound.

    Aloha!

    Don't know why, but I always have a sweet spot for Ian & Sylvia. Both were capable of writing a really great song when they wanted to. This one, by Sylvia Tyson, is one of my favorites.

    Great Speckled Bird, "We Sail."
