Putting up the Christmas tree enjoying some bottle conditioned ales and port and listening to some Chieftains, reminds me of my childhood .
I like the Chieftains! I've just never stumbled upon any of their work I can save. I have a few of the traditional and not so traditional groups, Danu, The Corrs, Deanta, Loreena McKinnitt.

    Thanks for sharing! :
Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.

My pleasure Roy. The Cheiftains "The Bells of Dublin" is a fantastic album, really gets me in the mood for Christmas.
The Dubliners are also a great traditional group that I love.

    Default The Last Waltz...

....The Band, Bob Dylan and "I Shall be Released"...just a monumental moment is music history.

You can see Ronnie Hawkin's in the back, just blown away at the epic moment of what's going on, as Neil Young, Ringo Starr, Ronnie Wood, Van Morrison, Joni Mitchell and many other giants in the industry perform this classic.

Oh, and if you want to buy Ronnie's huge property, complete with music memories, it's for sale in the Kawarthas, about 90 minutes away from Toronto, for a cool $5 million.
