    I was on a bit of a Clash bender tonight, so it's no surprise I ended up listening to Toots & the Maytals. I think I need to watch Grosse Pointe Blank again soon. Great soundtrack.

    It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
    This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

    I've been on a two week binge of early Jazz, nothing in paticular. Clarinets, Sax, Trumpets, piano, bass....How can you not enjoy that? It just feels good.........

    All the talk of poutine over here has me thinking about la culture Quebecoise, et quand je pense à la culture Quebecoise, je pense de La Bottine Souriante. Fifteen years after I first heard it, 'En Spectacle' is still one of my all-time favourite albums. Killer live band, even after a bunch of lineup changes.

    Now probably not a big surprise I'm a huge fan of good harmonica (Paul Butterfield, John Popper, etc.) but this guy kicks it up to a whole other level.

    I heard the news today, the World has lost a great musician and great person, Ravi Shankar. His music was awesome, his message of love and peace, equally awesome. So, light some incense, spark up some ganja, and remember a music great.
