Here we have Terry Bozzio kicking off into a heavy funk/rock bag for Frank's blistering guitar solo on "Punky's Whips". The sound he milks out of that SG is just amazing. Of course, he's got an all-star lineup of musicians on stage with him and FZ's great songs are many, but this solo is right up there for me.

Zappa was incredible. And super smart, and funny and creative. Tremendous loss.

Something quiet to ease you into your weekend. My friend Luke and his lovely wife Melissa: Whitehorse

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

My pleasure! Check out also Luke Doucet solo and with his occasional band the White Falcon as well as Melissa McClelland. Luke is possibly the best guitarist I have ever seen live, an absolutely phenomenal performer.

    Speaking of the White Falcon...

EDIT: Can't talk of Luke live without adding in a bit of Luke live...

I always have a running list of bands that I would be willing to drive for hours to see live. These guys are always on the list. Ladies and Gentlemen - the Decemberists.

EDIT: changed link to one that doesn't cut off before the end.
