I enjoy smoking a pipe here and there. I tend to favor Danish pipes, especially freehands. I have a few Karl Erik's that I really like, two Stanwells, and one... that I can never remember the name of, but it's a beautiful straight grain bridge pipe.

I mostly like English blends; I am lucky enough to live near a shop that has a great match to Dunhill's Early Morning, which is probably my favorite. Their 965 is also quite good, as are several of their other house blends. JimmyHAD was also kind enough to forward me about 1 pound of GH Pensioner's Blend, and that has been a fun change of pace. One bag is definitely stronger than the other, but I like them both.

I too enjoy an occassional pipe. As far as pipes go, I have a Jirsa, nording, Stanwell, a no-name, and a few cobs. My blend of choice is the VaPers (Escudo is alway near the top of my list), but enjoy an aromatic here and there as well.

Regarding the Dunhill tobaccos, I understand that they are re-distributing them in the USA now, or in the very near future, so hoepfully we can get our 965, earling morning, and light flake stocks back up to par.

What is this pipe? The Falcon. To make it even more old school, I often smoke Velvet in them.

In addition I have several Dunhill and Peterson pipes I enjoy, and partake of various tobacco blends that include Perique and Latakia.
I to smoke a Falcon, also a Petersen, corn cob, a very long stem cherrywood pipe that holds about a 1/3 of a tin of baccy !!

Pipe of the day is a fun thread. Also I hang out some at this forum http://pipesmagazine.com/

I've been smoking pipes since 1971. I have several brands I like like Dunhill, Ashton and well as normally priced pipes like older 1920's Kaywoodies, Old Les Woods before he started Ferndown. I made a few that turned out well.
Tobacco--Pensance, C&D Cross Eyed Cricket, McClellend Bombay Extra, Dark Star, GL Pease Haddos Delight, oh yea Frog Morton all the blends of that one.
