You beat me to it. Emerson Lake and Palmer at the Bowen Field House in Michigan - 1976 - man was that awsome.

Man, I'd love to see Steely Dan! Unfortunately they never come to Canada, let alone Edmonton.....

Way too many great concert memories for me to pin down just one. Among them would have to be Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, The Who, the Eagles and Roger Waters.

And, naturally for me, Neil Young - three times to date so far

You know, I might get lynched by other Canadian members for saying this, but that is one band I've meant to see over the years and never have. That's another act that doesn't come this way too often.

I wonder if they are louder than Dream Theater was. I really wasn't expecting it, given their music, but holy COW they were loud.

Einstürzende Neubauten at a club in Asheville is one of my favorites.

My first concert was the Jacksons' (really Michael Jackson) Victory Tour in Jacksonville, FL.

There's been some great reunion shows this year; Faith No More and Primus. But the highlight for me was the Jesus Lizard. They haven't lost a step. Just love those guys.

First concert I ever went to was Kiss with my dad and brother, that was a lot of fun. Another great one was Girl Talk (saw him twice actually). Saw Modest Mouse (my favorite band) about a year and a half ago. Then I took my girlfriend to New Orleans to see her favorite band. To do this we had to go to NO for the concert (5 hour drive from college), go home (1.2 hour drive from NO), sleep for like 3 hours, then get up and make the 4 hour drive back to college before my 9 AM class. This is a good memory.

EDIT: How could I forget my dad taking the family and my girlfriend to the Moody Blues??? Wonderful concert and great band. I too saw Rush Alembic and it was pretty great as well!
