My favorites:
MUSE when they played at a local festival some years back. We were about 4 feet from the stage and they were a-mazing.
Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds when they played in an amsterdam venue 2 or so years back. Hauntingly beautifull.

My greatest concert experience is actually two. Pink Floyd in Stocholm 1989 and Pink Floyd in Oslo 1995. Just fantastic sound and show. Another great experience was a piano concerto in Oslo, listening to Rachmaninov`s No. 3 live brought tears to my eyes.

It's Punk Rock Dude!
Seeing Warzone and the Business in ATL in 97 just back from a deployment from Haiti was the best! Raybees died later that year from pneumonia complications. Also seeing Agnostic Front, Dropkick Murphy's and the U.S. Bombs in 99 was a good one, despite the fact a MORON from my batallion shot a 45 ACP Black Talon HP into my bedroom floor in a room full of people right before we left. Seeing Mighty Mighty Bosstones with H2O and hanging out with both bands in the back in 95 was cool too. Have seen a bunch of shows. All are good in there own way.

This Thursday, I'm going to see Social Distortion play an acoustic set in a small bar here in Salt Lake City, I can't wait! IMHO, there's nothing better than going to a live punk show-- I've rarely walked away from one disappointed.

I took my son to see The Wiggles at the Target Center a few years ago.
The look on his face when he saw his favorite TV characters in person easily made that the best concert I have ever attended.

One of the best concerts I have been to was New Years Evil back on 12/31/98, the line-up was in this order: Soulfly, Megadeth, Slayer, Pantera and headlining was Black Sabbath with Ozzy. The venue was prettly well thrashed after the concert. Good times.
Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???

I got a few good ones: 3) The Coney Island Rockabilly Festival last year. The sound kinda sucked but a rooftop in BK overlooking the ocean with live good music. 2) Leftover Crack at the Hook in Redhook. The singer was outside puking and passing out the whole time before their set. Totally out on heroin, but as soon as he got on stage he came alive and they were great. 1) No Redeeming Social Value at CBGB a month before they shut down. Hands down my favorite show. I smashed a microwave and got the band to sign the pieces. Any NRSV show is good though.
