With my new pen in hand, I've registered on FPN under the screenname BRuhling. I'd love to link up with some SRP members there...

hey,
I have a nice Lamy pen. It is filled with a screw pump (which is what I believe you refer to as a piston) so there are no disposable cartridges).
I use it every day at work and it's never let me down! I'd highly recommend it.

Damn you! Damn you all!! I've been avoind this AD for some time. I have a couple of Retro 51 Tornado rollers that I really like as daily use pens. The Umbra is my favorite and I'm on a quest to find scales to match.
Now, thanks to this blanking thread, I'm afraid I'm giving in. I didn't realize there were sooooooo many choices in ink color and that may put me over the edge.
Arrrrrgggghhhhhhhhh!!!!

I agree there are alot of choices. So far I've been able to limit myself to one bottle of Noodlers ink, and one Lamy studio pen.
Works like a charm for me and don't feel the pressure to get anymore nShaving_story on Instagram

You guys are evil!
I had too many hobbies as it was... then the straight razors... Now this!
Maaaaan!
I'm gonna go brood over the Esterbrook my grandma gave me when I started high school and I don't know where or when I last saw. Gray pearly acetate (or maybe celluloid) gold nib, rubber bladder...
*sigh*

Wow nice pens there
My current pens...
Pilot Vanaishing Point M Silver
Pilot Custom 74 F Demo
Parker UK Lady M burgandy
Shaeffer 1940's Desk pen (looking for the right base)
Platinum Preppy .03
AG Spalding clear M
Noodlers Ivory Darkness flex nib
Working on Pics, don't like the ones I have so far...
I'm also more addicted to inks, joined the Ink Drop from Goulet pens as well... nothing like new ink every month
I'm getting the "cousins" of my daughter pens as gifts so they all can write each other, see how that goes over. At least half of them are excited to give it a tryLast edited by DwarvenChef; 01-29-2011 at 01:30 AM.
