Thanked: 4Wait till you get bored in class (if you are still in school)
The black is fountain pen, the yellow is highlighter, since I had only one color fountain at the time
And this was a black ink fountain and a gold ink fountain

No wonder you are worried about running out of ink during class! Don't show those to your parents if they are helping you out.
I filled a Preppy as an eyedropper pen today and so far it has worked fine. Cheap and holds much ink. I will have to see how it holds up in the long run. I will probably bust the clip off before it runs out of ink. I have done that many times with cheap ball points.

Haha sell the drawings to finance school or pen purchases. They are pretty awesome!

Thanked: 4Ya, that would explain it
I usually don't draw in class though, those are done about once every 2 weeks
And with those drawings, one of my 2 pens likes to crap out on me while I am filling in, the flow just all of a sudden gets very slow.....italy be clogging up with paper, but I don't know. I will figure it out later
I am thinking about starting to fill p e of the cartridges with an eye dropper, but I don't know yet

Alrighty so just got back from a trip with the wife.
I took the new montblanc with me and put in a fresh cartridge of the mb blue ink and brought a spare just in case.
After a week and a a couple days the ink had barely a dent in it and I was writing a few pages daily.
Overall very happy with the pen and thinking about getting another.Shaving_story on Instagram

I bought myself a very pretty Parker 51 for my birthday. It came in yesterday.
It was much better looking than the Ebay pics. Gold filled cap. Black with Vacumatic filling. It had been refurbished with a new diaphragm.
Only problem was, it wouldn't write very well. It seems to have some kind of feed problem. I sent it back to the seller and he has promised to fix it. After I described the problem to him he agreed that something was wrong with the feed.
My excitement quickly turned into disappointment.

surprise find
I have been thinking of getting a fountain pen for a little while now as they just appeal to me and I have been teaching myself to write with old school cursive and playing with a bit of calligraphy when I get time. Most of the ball point pens I have been using don't seem to particularly like the new way I am writing and gum up and get blocked. I was talking to one of my uni prof about it and i asked about fountain pens because I know he loves them. He told me about a store in Adelaide I could check out to have a look at them. I quickly checked them out, WOW, didn't know they were soo expensive! lol He recommended me to the base model lamy if I wanted something cheaper to give them a try but I left it to think on.
Well ANYWAY, I ducked into my local antique store on my way home tonight to have a quick scouting for razors and found this!!!
I already knew waterman's were a pretty good pen so I was thinking that it was going to be quite expensive but I wanted to look just for s#!ts and giggles anyway. They had $65 on it and as I was looking, the lady said if you are interested in it, you can have it for $50......SOLD!!! thats the same price as that base Lamy and this one is SOOO much prettier
did some researching as soon as I got home, its a waterman - Man 200 in Rhapsody Mineral Red with an 'Ideal Paris 18K 750 France' fine nib. Came with converter aswell as the ink cartridges in the pic.
Must say, I'm pretty happy with my find

Very nice pen indeed. I am not able to use one since I am a lefty and my hand drags across the ink. My Dad has a collection of antique ink pens he has had since he was a kid.
Enjoy your new Pen.“Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.”

Waterman is a fine brand. I have lots of fountain and calligraphy pens, but find myself using their roller balls and fibre points these days. I have a Parker Fountain pen on the desk for official stuff now.

Its a nice pen. Right now I just use an inkwell dip pen. I have thought about an upgrade.
I am a lefty too. There is a trick to this since we will naturally drag our hands across what we wrote. When I first started I would rest my wrist on my right fist so that I would always be above the paper. After a good while my hand has a memory for inkwells that it hovers above the paper. If it starts to act up, I lay my wrist on the right fist again.Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?
