Not sippin any of it right now. On some rare occasion when i drink whiskey, it is either Tyrconnel or Caol Ila with 1-2 cubes of ice. Glenfiddich or Laphroaig ain't so bad either.

Just right. You never have to have your nose in the air when you drink Bourbon.

I'm currently sipping an 11 year old Laphroaig "Nector of the Daily Drams" 'Sherry Buff' whisky. Rather tasty

My liquor cabinet also currently offers a 12 year Craggenmore, a 16 year Dewer Rattray and an 18 year Bunnahabhain.

Each one of these four whiskies is enticing and delicious in its own way.

When the mood strikes (and when I have $$) I'll have a glass of Eagle Rare Single Barrel or Jameson or Makers Mark. Sometimes I get crazy and add an ice cube!

I have been leaning steadily towards Islay whiskeys lately. Compass box 10th anniversary Flaming heart has been my love as of late.

Dewar Rattray is an independent bottler... they go from distillery to distillery to choose a single barrel... and at a right time, they bottle that perticular barrel. Every barrel offers a strictly limited amount of bottles.

So my question... a 16yr old from?
I have a 16yr old Bowmore from Dewar Rattray (one of 223 bottles)

I'm sipping on a Nikka (from the barrel) for the moment... cask strenght with a single ice cube in it.
