Very nice but I've never seen an automatic pocket watch before. How would it wind siting in your pocket or a pouch?

My guess is it's a quartz powered mvmt.

Do you find it winds automatically sitting in a pocket or pouch? Some dude came up with an automatic pocket watch a very long time ago but it never took hold because there wasn't enough movement to keep it wound up. I find it strange they didn't put a manual wind mvmt in.

Yes, once you give it that first initial few winds, as long as you use it every day it will keep working without further winding like a normal automatic mechanical watch.

I have wanted a pocketwatch for years, this may be the proper nudge.

Scott, the watch keeps superb time, there are several models, both automatic and quartz movements and different colour faces.

Personally, after Seiko I'll take a German watch over a Swiss one any day.

You can't get much better than an El Primero.

I had a Zenith type 20 which I sold. I still have a pocket watch though.

I also had a Ball which I also sold. They are a nice watch but I have a thing about the claimed history of the outfit.
