I have a very basic fitness watch which I only use to check on steps and sleep, that's it. I have a cell but use it for basic operations. I don't do any social media. The missus is addicted to that rubbish. I have an internet phone at home but never use it. I just get spam calls on it. I should get rid of it.

I've been collecting and servicing pocket watches for over 35 years and wrist watches for 25 years. I always carry a pocket watch and wear a wristwatch.

Just grabbed this, figure a way to check out if I'm into the 70s integrated bracelet without having to buy an AP to learn lol...this watch for the price, from what I've read, hits way above it's weight. Solid automatic, great movement, 100 M WR, 80 hour power reserve, sapphire crystal, display caseback, and looks like the 1970's Rolex Oysterquartz, another Tissot from the 70's, and the AP all in one.

Very nice watch phrank, and the bracelet looks slick, how’s the size? Hard to tell if it’s a big dial or not. Like the grid face as well, neat geometry.
If only it came in green,,

Have been reading about this watch for awhile, love the retro look, and with an empty soul, I decided to fill the Void with some consumerism today - so just ordered! lol

...and it does come in Green, which looks absolutely amazing....if I really like this watch, I'll probably pass this one to the boy and order the green dial for myself.

    Very nice.

Tissot is one of those brands like Hamilton where you get some real bangs for your buck.

When you be ready to move up check out Longines. Their watches can really give some mega thousand watches a run for the money.

Had a beautiful Longines, sold it to my neighbour as he was absolutely in love with it....

I think my favorite watch is a Hamilton 993 pocket watch in a nice gold hunter's case. I might even post a photo of this beauty.

Yea, that's a nice watch alright. All the odd numbered Hamilton Models are Hunter Cased. It's not railroad approved but comes very close.
