That is a problem today, you never know who really owns the rights to the name on a lot of items or who even owns the company for that matter.

It has to be said, are we all aware that we all are nuts? Everyone here has two wrists, and we all have many more watches than that? If it takes me more than ten minutes to choose a watch, I just keep the one I have on for another day...

When you own the name you own it's history going back to day one. Bulova Watch is owned by Citizen and they can make whatever watch they want and slap the Bulova name on it.
I would think that they use the same recipe for the hydrox, but maybe they have a few recipes of there own to try out.

    Funny thing.

It takes me a few minutes to choose my watch dependng on what I'm wearing, rose gold for a yellow or brown shirt, black for a white or grey shirt etc. but I don't actually look at it much.

There a clock in the car and I see the time each time on my cell i get an email, if I'm home my computer my cooker and my wall have clocks. My watches look great and I choose carefully but don't really need to wear one.

In this day and age very few folks wear a watch to tell the time. It's mostly either a piece of jewelry or someone who has an appreciation for the inner workings. For some it's a prestige thing to impress others with the name on the watch.

In recent years I have been wearing my watches a lot more than I used to. I wear mine so I can keep from looking at my smart phone. Not looking at my smart phone all the time helps keep a buffer between me and the cess pool of the internet. I use the watch for the utility of knowing what time it is, since I am a bit of a compulsive clock watcher.

My watches are not posh but they serve their purpose. An old hand wind Timex, and a quartz Pulsar are worn the most.

I do enjoy the ritual of winding and setting the time on Timex.

I grew up wearing a watch to tell time and still do. I carry a camera to take photos. I like using an item the has only one specific purpose. I hate cell phones where you whole life gets stored on, photos get take with it and the net is your oyster. I have one and use it as a phone only while I am in the car for emergency calls. It is turned off at home as we have a landline.
