No need to be sorry. I was more or less spouting off tongue in cheek.

I strongly doubt it, but nothing would surprise me with this world today.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Excellent - I've always wanted two Derringer's, one for each pocket, and an ivory handled .45 like Patton's....I'll pay for dinner and coffee and donuts at Tim's later!

Ohhh...may need a bit of firearm's instruction, as I've never held one, let alone "capped" a few rounds (did I say that correctly?)

Well this is Calif, the land of fruits and Nuts.In talking with my insurance agent the other day, these folks have to show proof of auto Insurance.
They get the License, than cancel the insurance a week later, the penalty for not having a valid proof of insurance card is only 50 bux.
    win, win situation for them

Owning was never an issue for me. Before this new law, I couldn't carry concealed as a non US citizen. Now all legal residents in KS will be able to. If you have a green card, reside in the state - you should be good to go. It's like that in Arizona too.

Having a green card in no way makes you a U.S citizen.

On the Kansas carry laws, I would contact Kansas Bureau of Investigation. I'm sure they are the ones fine tuning the laws like here in Oklahoma where Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation makes the rules/oversees for CCW.
Southeastern Oklahoma/Northeastern Texas helper. Please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thank you and God Bless, Scott
