I live in Philly and I carry a S&W Model 640 357 mag. It just so happens that last weekend some nice citizens of the city of brotherly love decided to shot up our shop delivery van at night. Blowing out 3 windows and putting 2 rounds through the door panels. I surely hope things calm down. I never go to work without my piece.

Growing up a short way from Springfield IL I feel your pain. Now living in Missouri, I'm happy to say that as of February I will be getting my CCW through Maine. I'll be carrying a Norinco 1911 until I can afford a Sig P229 in .40.

@ Deerhunter1995 I feel your pain, being 19 it's hard to get my CCW too. I used to go to concerts in some pretty sketchy places and started carrying a knife for defense at about 15. I firmly believe that it saved my life when I jumped at random jumped when I was 16 and saved my from a mugging last october. I dont know what you carry but you may check out the Ka Bar BK 11 and Bk 14 its what a carry for SD tucked in the back of my jeans now.
No that pistol isn't the only thing under my kilt, but I can tell you both of them work just fine

I carry a Glock 36, Model 36/30/31 S&W or a fullsize SA 1911A1. All depends. Whatever I feel like carrying that day. I live below Macongo Ga and people get killed a few a week up there it seems. I also have a Spyderco Clipit in my pocket at all times.

Size: 135.0 KBHere is my Kahr P380 with a De Santis .... I think it is called the 'Summer Heat'. Whatever they call it I love the holster with this pistol. I can wear it on the hip or in front as a cross draw and it is supremely comfortable, conceals well and fits the Kahr like a glove. The clip goes to the outside and the holster is IWB.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

When I'm not in the miserable state of IL (where I work, but don't live), I pretty much always have a Glock 19 by my side.

I think I've posted this somewhere else on the forum, but my old man got a Rohrbaugh R9 maybe half a year ago and he loves it. It's a drag to shoot at the range because it's so small and packs such a punch, but it's a really nice gun to carry and you wouldn't notice the kick if you were (God forbid) actually in a life-threatening scenario.

I used to have a SOG Flash clipped to the inside of my pants pocket. I somehow lost it though. Now I just conceal my shame.

I have my late grandfather old service kabar i cant get it shar tho and i dont think a 5 inch knife is leagle in pa does anyone know the laws for pa on what knife i dare carry. I avoid places where there is a high risk of truoble just because i dont like fights and all that no good stuff so if i can avoid it i do but i always worrie about somethign happening when im out bymyself. i will look at the kabar bks maby find something that would be a upgrade from what i have. One thing about the army jungle boots is they lace up tight so a small knife stays in place untill you need it.
