Thanked: 1371In light clothing I carry my Sig-Sauer P238.
With heavier clothing, I go for a full frame semi-auto. My choice varies day to day.
Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

At least in Merced and Mariposa counties it is for real. As I mentioned we have a County Sheriff who is pro-carry and Mariposa County does as well. The police departments in Merced county do not issue but once an applicant is turned down by the P.D.'s, if you live in a City,
you can make application to the County Sheriff. The licenses are two year renewals with the mandatory classroom and field qualification shooting to continue to or receive your first CCW. My area is also blessed with a superb
member only range. Everyone I know who carries here is well aware of how fortunate we are. Our range is

Depending on the day .... I might be carrying a Kahr MK 40, a Kahr PM9, a Kahr P380 or a S&W 640. All will be in an IWB holster and I never leave home without one or the other.... but I carry at home too so ..... just 'cause I'm paranoid, doesn't mean they're not really after me.

Thanked: 1936For an absolute minimum in the hot months I carry a NAA Pug 22mag. Alternatives are Glock 26 (baby glock) or German made Makarov (single stack). Whenever I can it's a 1911 in either .45 or 10mm. You just can't beat a 1911.

I've got an assortment of larger revolvers and semi autos too. I usually work a 10 hour shift in a not so great area so I carry at work ..... and like I said, everywhere else, so weight and comfort is a primaru consideration for me. As a guy on a gun forum I frequent says," the 380 in your pocket is better than the 45 you left at home".

Depends on the cloths I am wearing. I either carry a Glock 30 or a Glock. 26. I always carry spare mags for them. As to knife, nothing scary, just a Laguiole.

VA. S&W M&P 9c IWB (galco king tuck is my fave). Looking at a diamondback DB9/Beretta Nano or something similar in the pocket or IWB in the summer months.
