CCW - carrying a concealed weapon

It is a CPL (concealed pistol license) in my State of Washington. Used to be called CWP (concealed weapon permit) which is what most of us here still call it. Each state seems to have a different acronym.

Nice I just looked at mine and I guess if we have one it is a HCP. I haven't heard anyone call it that. I have only heard carry permit.

Of ever in doubt check. Each state is a bit different and each have there own rules regs etc... Always best to check (yourself) on what apply's local and even moreso before traveling, not all honor each others and even if they do it could be on a limited basis for example iirc I only have reciprocity in 34 states with my 'weapons permit' last I checked.

Let me stress that check for yourself bit. If your going to carry a gun or any weapon such as a knife over x inches for example its your responsibility to obey the law(s). Your not likely to get much sympathy from an officer if you say well what thats what someone told me on the internet or you read on some third party website. Like in my state you better not have one on you in a assembly event even with a permit and thats not even getting into where you cross into federal jurisdictions like national parks....

So when asked what I wanted for Christmas, not "Needed" but "Wanted"

I went with a new Holster for my Beretta 92, it is a weapon that I have never carried Concealed and I have never carried SoB style so I decided that was what I wanted

Should be a fun new challenge to work out

    Anybody else carry like this

I didn't like it driving a car or operating equipment. Ok for most other activities though.

No worries. No restraining order. Actually her husband makes soap so I was going to message her today.

Her dad got an M&P and that was her first Semi-auto. I had tried while we were together to get her to try one. She would barely get into guns. Then someone got violent at her office and the door opened up. Now her and her husband were talking about target shooting competitively.
