I think that you upgraded for sure... I have a Glock 23 and i love it... I carry my 23 on a Glock holster! Super cheap and it rides very close to you!
I am 165lb and i carry with just a t-shirt over it... Just a suggestion! My buddy is superhappy with his crossbreed also... I know they are really good

Thanked: 2VA CHL. My carry method varies based on clothing choice but I usually carry a Glock 23 or Taurus J-frame .357. I just recently chose an FEG PA-63 as pocket carry in a pair of cargo pants.

Ive been a long time ccdw permit holder, usually packing my Kimber Ultra Raptor 2 , 3" barrel. Compact 1911, or my Sig P938 sub compact 9mm.

Thanked: 32Many bullets pass through people with ease. Based on the videos, that round is not going near as deep into tissue as a traditional round. Breaking into small pieces means there's less momentum to drive the projectile pieces once they hit something solid. The multiple small wound channels may look bad, but smaller shallow holes might not necessarily bleed more than one (or two) big hole(s).

Trust me: I'm a retired Navy doc trained in battlefield trauma, and the RIP technology appears to be capable of producing horrendous wounds based on its performance in the videos.
If the ballistic gel used in those videos was the standard mix, then the initial wound cavity with those rounds is HUGE, and one would expect LOTS of tissue damage, and lots of bleeding...assuming that the heart is still beating. And any wound that includes shrapnel (which is what that round produces) is a surgeon's nightmare. Then there's the core slug that lies behind the flechettes; as you can see in the videos, it has plenty of energy left after it sheds the flechettes...enough that it traverses the entire length of the ballistic gel block. I'd be concerned about overpenetration if it doesn't hit anything solid enough to stop it.
