This is serious stuff the F word is not one you want to hear (Felony). But I can't help thinking a bolo round might be appropriate for an action movie. The creative good guy hand loads some bolo rounds for his Vepr-12 shotgun. Bad guy gets the nasty end of the business and finds himself with a lot of weird slices on his body. Just before he croaks he says, 'hey, those are illegal.'

Thanked: 3215If you are rolling your own, you can easily make a frangible 12 ga round, by removing half the shot from a No. 8 round and mixing it with dental plaster. Upon impact most of the energy will transfer to the intervening object and stop. Use a high base shell.
They are great for shooting off door locks and hinges without excessively penetration of doors and walls. You can buy them, also.
Or, load the first round with bird shot, the second, No. 4, third OO buck and last a slug.

Just took delivery of my Wilson Professional. It exceeds all my expectations. My last gun was a Les Baer P II with1 1/2" guarantee at 50 yards (love my P II). As the saying goes "a Wilson is the classy brunette on your arm when you go out to dinner, a Les Baer is the blonde you take to see Ted Nugent. Glad I'm going to dinner, now.
I'll post dirty pics when I get to the range.

Just put night sights on my Glock 26 which is my daily carry, as well as my "go to bed" nightstand pistol (although it's not alone in that drawer). They are Ameriglo Spartan Tactical sights, which fit this pistols role terrifically.
I'm not sure my picture of them on the pistol do them justice, so I posted a vendors pic too. They have 3 Trijicon dots, the front surrounded by a large orange circle, and the rear flanking a large square notch. It is super easy to fix on the front sight and get it in the notch, especially with my old eyes.

Just my two cents, I have two boys, and since I was brought up around guns my whole life, I took a page from the Old man, I taught them how to handle a gun from a very early age, and NEVER told them no when they wanted to see one. The only caveat was show me you know what you are doing, and after a much shooter amount of time than you would imagine they got bored with it and, would never touch the only one that wasn't in the safe, which had an empty mag in it. Agreed..
Early education is the best thing to do for children. It relieves the curious mind, to the knowing mind, and the dangers. I was tought at an early age , around 8 yrs old how to handle various weapons.
Hand guns, shot guns, rifles.
My father was a true gun nut.
And glad to be able to pass on the info to my children and grand children for their own saftey and protection.
I keep 3 loaded in the house at all times, they know where they are, and never touch them because of being educated in them , and know the dangers involved.
Ecspecially if I find out they've tried to play with them. They know their not toys .Mike
