I agree, the right to carry crowd has a thought process that dictates they will come out on top in some sort of faceoff with another who is armed, the reality I feel is that you now have a 50/50 chance of being killed.

Im not a fan of ppl carrying fire arm for protection. In my mind that just equals more trouble. Going to the firing range, No problems. Hunting, Good for you for putting food on the table and getting a chance to enjoy the great out doors.

even though I think you're dead wrong, I hope you don't have to become dead to see the error in your thinking. I've been carrying a gun for over 30 years, never had an accident, never had to go off for no reason, and never had to kill anyone, however the fact that it was in my waistband and I could make it visible has saved me more than a couple times. Just my two cents.
As for the other side of this conversation, in the summer I still like my PPK,or my mod.60.

Around here they don't just rob you. They rob you then they shoot you. I am not exaggerating. I'd rather have a fighting chance than depend on the goodwill of someone who is confronting me with a firearm.

And also, carrying a firearm gives you the choice if you have an opportunity. It doesn't mean that you're automatically obligated to become John Kersey.

I fully understand, will never be a diffinative answere for sure.
The American sociaty has tanked so perhaps it is time to take up arms.
Do not know the answeres,But from what I have read, countrys that curtail firearms do not have the problems we have in America today.
    Is a very complex situation.

I will take a 50/50 chance over a 100% chance, ANY DAY OF THE WEEK.

I have a few tools but likes others have stated, we in Canada can't carry...... Usually. I think having trained people carry would help out in a lot of situations but a lot of fellow LEO's carried and still paid the ultimate price. But in most cases they saved other lives. Would I carry..... Yes! Would I use it ..... Yes! Should everyone carry.... No! A very complex situation.... I will give up the fight to carry when there is a police officer on every corner.

It's a "Show & Tell" thread, we stay clear of discussions involving the politics/pro's & con's of concealed carry.
This simple rule keeps a Firearm thread on a Shaving forum.
Being new to the forum, you probably were not aware.

Further to John's point - here is the link to the rule and to a blog post with further details. I think it probably bears occasional repeating on threads like this one:

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.
