I like the crossbreed holsters ... as far as spare magazines I like the Blackhawk retention mag holsters..
I cant even shake the mag out , yet it comes out easy

on occasion ill tote the Glock22C . with ported barrel and slide ..
carry it mostly while in the woods or fishing .. works well on groundhogs ..lol

If your just now beginning to here of gun crime in your country there's probably more that you know about. The news media here in the states to me will only report one sided news. you here about the murders and robbers but not the self-defense firearms related news. also here in the cities the gangs are not controllable. drive by shootings dope related killings turf wars. the police I believe are afraid to act because of the fear of being sued or arrested themselves. When I was young (in the 50-60s) it really wasn't as bad but now the police go into a war zone every day and I really believe the news people are against the police. You know it reminds me of an old saying. The police are the sorriest so and so there ever was until you need one and then there the sorriest because there weren't there. they can't be every where. People don't realize for the most part the police investigate the crime. We the people are responsible to protect ourselves and family. I have the upmost respect for the law enforcement but if someone try's to harm me or my loved ones and there's no escape to be seen I will do what ever it takes and I believe most people will do the same. Now lets look at it this way. I'm old. My health isn't all that good. I'm not going to try to physically fight it out with larger stronger armed or not one or two or more bad guys. I carry a firearm. Hope I never have to use it but it is better to have it and not need it as to need it and not have it.. as far as training I was in the military and years ago on the police force.

I agree, we're about the same age I'd say. Things have DAMN sure changed. I work pretty much alone. I may have a crew working near me or I may not. We're allowed to carry concealed at work. As my job is out on the highways, I carry. I'm currently working a night job and will be for a few more weeks. Several of the repairs we have to do are in parts of town that we lovingly refer to as "indian country". We do have an off duty cop with us, but the job may be a mile long and the cop has to stay on the upstream end of the job while most of the work is on the downstream end. I hope and pray I NEVER have to use my gun again and would be happy if I wore it out in the holster. It's only there to use if I can't outrun the problem. I can't run worth a damn any more but I'll give my best try and that 3/4t diesel powered Dodge I drive at work is also a deadly weapon if I want it to be.

Keep it concealed. if the bad guy sees it he'd take you out first at least that's what I was taught . Be carful out there.

Yeah, it's required to be concealed here. Open carry is a LOT less hassle, but I play by the rules.

One time out in Tuscon, a buddy of mine and I got in a bit of tight spot with a handful of punks. The fact that both of us were open carrying changed the whole scenario, when we turned around and the punks saw what they could be dealing with. They moseyed on with their tails tucked between their legs. I carried my Hi-Power in a cross draw and my buddy had big Smith in a shoulder holster. I put my hand on my pistol and he did the same. Neither of us said a word but the look on their faces was priceless.

Dam I wish we could conceal carry in NZ....... Not that we really need to tho

Sad part is that laws like you gents have do not deter the criminal element. Makes it easier for them as they KNOW that most people will obey the law and are unarmed.

But HEY! It's easy to immigrate to the states these days. Just walk across and make yourself at home.
