i carry concealed every day, no matter what...i live in Massachusetts which is very strict with the firearms laws, when you apply for your Class A Large Capacity License To Carry Firearms (LTC) the Police chief in your city/town can decide to either allow you to carry concealed which is known as (No Restrictions) or he can decide to put restrictions on your License To Carry known as (Target & Hunting) which basically makes your "License To Carry" not actually a license to carry hahahaha
haha, its pretty convoluted, however I am fortunate enough to have an unrestricted license to carry since i live in a small town about 20 miles inland of Boston, so my police chief has no problem with law abiding citizens, who have had a background check carrying a concealed firearm since we've proven that were not a threat...
anyway back to show and tell haha...my Every Day Carry is a 9mm Gen 4 Glock 26...a nice compact firearm which i carry using a VERY comfortable Inside the Waistband holster...it's basically like a Crossbreed SuperTuck.....leather against your skin, and a custom molded Kydex holster mounted to it...
i also own a S&W M&P 40 with a custom Apex trigger installed, it was actually the "Range & Carry kit"
i also have a Smith & Wesson M&P15 Rifle to round out my M&P collection
my wife has a nice Ruger SR22 pistol which is an excellent little plinking pistol for a fun range day
and to round out my current collection, a family member just gave me this old Colt .22 match pistol that belonged to her husband who passed away 30 years ago...
take a look at the price on this 50 round box of .22 Long Rifle haha

Here are the aforementioned Sig Sauer P229 and Ruger SR1911 I didn't post earlier
SR1911...perfect right out of the box. Shown here with a Sam Andrews (excellent North Florida leather crafter) Custom McDaniels II holster.
P229 has Tulipwood grips and a Milt Sparks Summer Special II holster (fun fact..the Tulip tree is the State Tree of Tennessee, my 2nd home).

try those finger extensions for the bottom of the magazine if you havnt already !! makes that G26 so much nicer !! ..lol...
I had to get rid of a G19 so I carry the G26 also .. those 2 have been my favorite carry guns !! I didn't realize how much I missed the 19 till shooting the full frame G22 yesterday !! I might have to come across another 19 or a 17 here soon ..lol..

since we got into buckshot a couple pages ago , I patterned 2 loads and some slugs ..
slugs = Fiocchi low recoil 7/8 ounce
#00= Fiocchi low recoil
Federal low recoil
out of a Mossberg 590A1 with ghost ring sights , smooth bore "20 barrel .
first pic is 6 slugs at 50yds ( low but made the adjustments ..
15yrds
this picture is same target at 15yrds , 2 more slugs after elevation raise , and 3 or 4 Fiocchi #00 buck ...not bad for not being top of the line buckshot .. I could settle for that in home knowing if I properly aim all pellets will be on target ..
final target is 2 more slugs 1 fed with flight controlled wad , and 1 Fiocchi .. not that im a pro but I did shoot to the right on the rio to try to gauge the pattern , and although 15yrds I wanted to see about what would work best in my home and the distances in it .. I need to do this again with more rounds but since I was there for my boy I didn't want to shoot on his time ..lol
but you can see out of this gun that the flight controlled wads in the fed rounds did hold a tighter pattern , $10 for 5 VS $8.99 for 10 Fiocchi at the local store though .. so practice with one and keep the other on stand by ..
