Thanked: 1936You will love those Heinie Straight 8 night sights.
I'm curious as I looked up your pistol, is CZ making this one for Dan Wesson now? They make some top shelf stuff...if they did.Southeastern Oklahoma/Northeastern Texas helper. Please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thank you and God Bless, Scott

Thanked: 25Love my VBOB! CZ bought out Dan Wesson several years ago. They are still made in the US by Dan Wesson; CZ is sort of the parent company.

Anyone know of a good Appendix IWB holster maker that doesn't charge an arm and a leg. I've been looking at philster but I hate the almost two month wait times. I'm looking for my Sig P229 and the LCR.

Thanked: 1936Isn't the sig a bit big for appendix carry? I use http://www.crossbreedholsters.com/IW...8/Default.aspx personally, Lynn turned me to them. I love the supertuck in horsehide!
For some reason the autolink is going crazy...had to edit twice.Last edited by ScottGoodman; 07-24-2014 at 05:30 PM.

Thanked: 884I carry my 1911 IWB. Over my right hip. Don't think I'd want to carry it appendix style as I spend too much time behind a steering wheel.
I use one of this guy's holsters. Bought the kit and assembled in about 15 minutes.
Assembled - Inside the Waistband - Hybrid Belly - Gun Holster - Old Faithful Holsters

Andrews Mac Daniel II Crossdraw...actually it can be worn either way, just move the belt retention flap. I carry a Ruger SR 1911 Commander with this holster. Perfect. Only thing with Sam Andrews, you WILL wait. He's a one man operation. Well worth the wait though.

Don't recall if I posted this before but ......... Milt Sparks Versa Max II, FN Hi Power with the ambi safety cut off and bobbed so I won't 'wipe it off' accidentally, I've got a few of these Sparks VVII for different models. Usually the Glock 26 or 27. Both the same size so I can carry one or the other in the same rig. There is a 6 week wait, used to be 12 weeks, but it is worth it IMHO.
I didn't think about cutting that darned double safety until I read the late Stephen Camp's Browning book. He passed away too young and was great guy. Participated in many gun forums, and was real easy to email and always responded with good info. His widow is keeping his legacy in print and I'm glad of that. Great resource.
Hi Powers and Handguns
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
