So the wife took an all women's hand gun shooting class, put on by the NRA. And she comes home all smiles and had a very fun time shooting the .22 hand guns. I asked..what kind of handguns did you shoot ? She said, a Sig Sauer, a Browning , and an S&W Model 18-4 . she told me she hit everything with that S&W. So I join a S&W forum to get the skinny on this gun.All the comments were that my wife had "good taste ". Now I know why...you can't touch those guns for under 650.00 used....But you know " Happy Wife..Happy Life"...it should be here by Tuesday...LOL...

Well all the rugers Ive ever shot didnt have a single bit of plastic. Dunno which ones youve shot but they generally have more steel than any other gun manufactoerer thats modern. Try their stainless revolvers or their beautiful 1911s and they have everything not 9 mil. .45 ACP is ana amazing round.
Ever wondered how a bee swarm was removed?

Thanked: 45Apples to apples.
Brown own the patent on the Bobtail. The others get around the patent by naming theirs "fastback" or "rounded mainspring housing" or "rounded butt".
Brown sell the bobtail msh thru brownells, midway etc, and a jig is available to cut your existing frame, if you wish. Aftermarket grips are available for the bobtail, not sure about the others.
