Although I'm bald there's a local guy where I live that makes Pomade and offers several varieties. Here's his site https://www.etsy.com/listing/1996226...w_type=gallery
Can't tell you anything about it but I know he has several places that carry it and I believe one of them is in Germany. I often thought about trying his pomade for my beard.

You can make a small batch in about twenty minutes. The ratio is by volume not weight. Typically I put 5 ounces of oil in a measuring cup and grate in the bees wax until it makes it to six ounces. Warm it up in very small sauce pan and away you go.

Started using pomade only recently, but so far Dr. Rubin's Lite has been the best. I like that my hair stays pliable unlike when I used gel, and it doesn't
flake. I don't use a whole boatload of it and really don't have a hard time getting it out using regular shampoo. I'm still experimenting and will be trying
different brands. I also have a tin of Lockhart's but it's the medium hold. Sometimes I'll take just a little of that and mix it with the lighter stuff.

My go-to is Murrays Superior for warmer days, but for cooler days or for when I dont need as much hold I use the brown camo Dax. In the past Ive used High Life Heavy and also their Voodoo brew. Both are pretty decent, but Ive still always come back to Murrays and Dax

I'd like to give Murray's a try. Last time I placed an order from the site I buy pomades from it was out of stock, that's how popular it is. On a more expensive note, I'd
like to try the Schmier Rumble 59 line of pomades.

They have a real cool comb as well. I love the metal combs.

I saw those. They have a few different styles. Seems like the package deal they offer would be the way to go. Comes with the comb, pomade and shampoo for about $48.

I love using pomades, I have got more than a dozen different tins in my drawer. I use both the water and oil base. Here is my POD (Pomade of the Day) Pomp is not dead original. This stuff has a clean scent and it is easy to apply; and emulsifies easy in your hands. HOG the butterhead.
