Today is the last day of late muzzleloader season and my last day for anything larger than bunnies and squirrels.
I haven't been out for a couple of weeks due to illness and work schedule.
    Wish me luck!

Last day for muzzleloader today. Bow and crossbow hunters have until sometime near the end of January. A couple counties in NoVA allow either sex deer hunting on private land until sometime in March due to overpopulation of both deer and rich people.

And today was a nice day. Didn't shoot anything. Didn't even see a squirrel. But I did see a Turkey carcass that had been picked over by coyotes. Took a nice feather for the hat.

Where do you send it to? I love to make and or have stuff made from the hides we harvest. The closest to me use to be called Uber Glove. the old family business use to be great but they sold out. The new owners went bankrupt but last I heard the family bought it back from bankruptcy and reopened. I wish them well but am going to wait at least until next year to see what happens before I trust them with my stuff.
