Oh, yeah, I saw a nice rig for this thread the other day. As soon as I can walk around, I'll take a picture of it. It's a Dodge Power Wagon, maybe ex military from the forties. Looks like one you would like, it has character and potential. If I can find it, I have a pic of an old duce an a half, still with the star on the hood and doors that my relatives transformed into a manure spreader. Awesome rig.

Thanked: 983Correct. You blokes are living in the past . We have three time zones if you don't bother with adding that backwards daylight saving stuff they use down south.

01-06-2013, 07:57 AM #55Well here I am taking my Weasel Amphibious Jeep out for a spin. All original, got a great deal on her. The grass is a little dry here, not much rain lately. She's in great condition.
I keep her in the garage.
Enjoy.

Thanked: 0Trucks!
Hey guys
I'm going into the market for a new truck; something for long commutes and carrying tools and work equipment. Not more than 600lbs and no towing, so preferably 4 or 6 cylinder, reg or long wheelbase, single cab, nothing fancy....
I've had a long wheelbase 86 Ram with a 318 I've been driving for years but I want to let the old girl rest and start fixing her up to last for my future progeny.
any suggestions?

If you love the old Dodge(good years and model there) get another one.

Thanked: 0Yeah, I just haven't kept up with new trucks, don't know how solid the new dodge is, ie they just don't build em like they used to.
