Thanked: 4249I roll my own, much cheaper and without any chemicals added and you get to try all different kinds of tobacco! In all honesty im in the same boat as Pixelfixed.

i was at a girlfriends moms house one day and i was fascinated by her machine , her mom would only roll one at a time ... i sat there and almost rolled the whole box of tubes and prob would of finished the box had she had more tobacco ....i thought i was doing her a favor but apparently she was trying to quit by leaving the machine downstairs and only rolling one at a time ...

When I smoked, it was mostly Camels or American Spirit. Marlboros were always harsh to me.

always been a camel guy, marlboros always seem to have a strong ammonia taste to me. so judging by a couple of the posts here i guess american cigarettes are low quality?

I don't think it's 'low quality' in a much as 'loaded with chemicals'. Who knows if tobacco has gone the GMO way as well.
Keep in mind too that cigarette tobacco is very low quality when you compare it to what goes into a good Havana cigar.

I like the smooths when I get on a menthol kick. My favorites were the now discontinued camel mellow, so now it is the camel turkish silvers. Something about turkish tobacco just draws me in.

I don't smoke, but buy several cartons of Marlboro's every time I travel to Eastern Europe & Vietnam.
In many situations, they prefer the cigarettes over the local currency.

A buddy of mine who was stationed in Italy for a year said the Italian cigs were great, didn't really describe them in detail, but just said the ones he had were pretty smooth.
