I gotta say,They are better than any american smokes, are not harsh,No additives?? maybe.
See.... Try to find State Express if you can. You would ditch even Dunhills. Dunhills are great but a little too soft. 555 has probably most perfect blend.

This was back when the rolling paper companies sold papers cheap. Pretty soon the pot smokers drove the price of those up to where it was too expensive and the tailor mades were

I tried Gauloises once could not stand the smell,at any rate tobacco is tobacco,a poison, will kill ya for sure.
Have had 4 friends die of oat cell lung cancer, some 15 yrs after they quit smoking after 40/50 yrs on the cigs,is no going back.
    A nasty addiction for sure.
Sadest thing I ever saw was my Mother in/law,wonderfull woman,Smoked two packs a day for 60 yrs,at age 83 my wife and her sister decided, since ma was burning holes in her bathrobe, time to get rid of the cigs and her two Gin and tonics at 5 P.M every day.
That poor woman died two weeks later of natural causes, she went bonkers, she told me on her death bed,Bill,No smokes,no cocktails,my life is over, goodbye, funny stuff Nicotine

I am trying to quit. As an intermediate step, i will be switching over to electronic ciggs. Then slowly stop smoking.

myself i smoke marlboro 100's, not so much trying to quit smoking, but switch methods of gettin the nicotene, pipe tobacco tastes so much better, and there are so many different flavors but i will admit the cowboy killers are very very hard to get away from.

I smoked Marlboro Special Blend Lights for quite a while until I quit two months ago. I was never really picky about what brand of cigarette I smoked just so long as they werent cheap. I could never smoke cheap cigarettes.

I packed it in last fall. However I have smoked many brands. The Marlboro reds were bad. When I was in the US it was mostly Camel plain. Then in Canada I discovered American Spirit, chemical free and all that, and an American smoke. My favorite smoke was hand rolled Drum from the Netherlands.

But they are so hard to find here in Texas. I see people are a big fan of Marlbros. But I just cant seem to get past the horrible harsh taste. The Red's a particularly horrible. Lights are still better, i but i do not like light cigarettes. I have tried Camels, L&M's, Pall Malls. All taste hopeless. Just was wondering is just me or there are others.
I don't smoke but this post helps me feel like I am not crazy. I lived in Spain for three months and always noticed the cigarette smoke actually smelled kind of nice. Way way better than Marlbros anyway that some relatives smoke.

I've been smoking Camel wides since I was around 13 and smoked whatever I could rob from my step dad for about 2 years before that (I'm 30 now). Tonight at the bar I had a really hard time breathing from the smoke. Now I currently smoke 1.5 to 2 packs a day myself. I quit drinking about 6 years ago so I only go for karaoke. I lit a cig and hacked a lung up. I then threw the rest of my pack away.

Here's to hopefully no longer smoking cigs.

PS sorry for the seemingly nonsense rant been going for over 24 hours sleepless and getting a little disconnected.

Good Luck with the e-cig, I kept getting a sore throat using them so I stopped using them. I may give it a go again at some point.....it would be nice to quit.
