No, this is a present of a friend of mine, who made the balcksmith lesson with me. We forged this steel together, enought for two mini razors. The problem is, I destroyed perhaps the other one.
Like you can see here:
The problem was, that we dont had the time, to let this blank after the forging over night in the fire. So the steel cooled down relativelly fast and the steel was allready a little bit hardened and brittle.
Later I forget this an tried to press my sign in the shank - *crack*
Now I will try to welding this crack, but I´m not shure if it will work. But even if it work, it will be visible. So also this razor will not go for sale. Perhaps in a half or a year I can make such a damascus steel by my self. First I have to train forging with monosteels. Afer a little bit more of practice I will try my luck with damascus.Last edited by Buddel; 07-30-2009 at 09:42 AM.

That razor has a great look and personality to it, and the damascus looks incredible with the ebony wood

Bud,
You say short, I think it's perfect. I do alot of triming when shaving and that shortness is fine for me. So now that wonderful eye popin work can be sent over here to me in jersey LOL. Greeeeat Job !
