    Default Buddel damascus Mini-razor

This is my first self-forged damascus blade. I dont did the forging allone. The blacksmith where I made my lesson helped me (a lot ). Unfortunately the steel package was to littel, to made a normal sized razor from it. But know as I see it, I like this little piece a lot.
The handle is from ebony and the wedge from rough aluminium.

That is really very nice. I love the shape of the blade & scales. The pattern achieved on the damascus is lovely too. Awesome work! I'd be very happy to pay custom rates for a lot your work. My wife wouldn't let me right now though!

    Absolutely beautiful!
The size of the blade, in no way takes away from the gorgeous design of the damascus and the scales, imo.

    Thanks,

    Mac

    Adorable!
The shape of the closed razor intrigues me the most.
Absolutely clever design and so precise!

Funny, I thought to call this razor "Lady shaver". But then I realized that the majoritiy of straigth razor users are mens and they will have a problem with this notation

@Olivia: Thank you, especially for your fantastic natural 16.000 wet stone. With my 10.000 Naniwa and the strops I had some problems to get a smoth and sharp edge on this razor. But with your "Franken-Stone" this little pearl shaves like a devil. I tested the stone since saturday on 5 straights and all of them now exeptional razors. My favorit stone for lower grits was the Aoto, but your stone is at the highest grits not worse.
For me the best buy since a long time

I like that razor abunch, small razors are so cool, but what I really like is that you are taking blacksmithing classes and made the Damascus steel yourself! Pounding steel is fun!
