Just read through this entire thread (hadn't seen it before), really fantastic pictures and descriptions of the whole process! Loved seeing the blade from raw metal to finished razor.

I'm curious as to edge holding for this blade as an indicator of success of heat treat, it's been a while now. I was wandering if Mike could update us yet about the time between honing sessions.

New to forum, TURNMASTER here (Jeff)
WOW for a first blade that is REAL good. I have been a machinist since '85 and that looks nice to me. I have always shied away from making blades, but that is inspiring. I have a fear of it being not right.
