I suspect the belt sander is just for show; if you look closely at some of the pictures, you can see a KMG in the background.
Really nice job. I did a couple of knives with a belt sander like that and completely dismissed the idea of using it for razors. I can see I made that decision too soon...

Thanked: 1936"Necessity is the mother of all invention". I don't have all of the more expensive tools to date, so I used what I had. Many guys have turned out nicer stuff than I on less...Jump in, the water is great!!
