No, but it couldn't hurt either.

Well I try to help people where I can. It is my own fault though.
So from now on, no lending. Next time I will sell them one of my razors, with a guarantee buy back if returned in exceptional condition.

Wow, you're a trusting guy. If I had a Martin I wouldn't even let my wife touch it

I don't think your wrong in lending a razor out; you did it with good intentions & it was a nice thing to do.

It feels good to help people, but sometimes they drop the ball on us or in this case, they neglected to care for it.

    This too, will pass.

He still is a good friend, he just couldn't get it through his head that when people "loan" you something to try, it doesn't mean giving it to them

Guy is fairly wealthy as well...

I finally had to badger, force him to meet me in an underground parking garage (where we were all going to park to go to the Skydome), to give me my guitar back, I said if he didn't bring it, we'd get in his car, drive to his house and get it...still makes me shake my head that he thought I was being, "difficult" about the whole thing...some people, that's all you can say.

Still have the guitar, really nice Martin Dreadnought with the combo Martin steel / nylon strings I like, about 25 years old now ( was 10 years old when I got it!)...still make sure when it get's cold to put the humidifier between the strings.

But for my everyday use, still love Neil Young's workhorse guitar, a nice Takemine Dreadnought, and yup, with the Martin steel / nylon strings....

Oh,,,,BTW,,,,I don't lend my toothbrush, my knives, my guns, if I had a dog, I wouldn't lend him either.

if I was still married, I'd lend the wife out for a good coticule or Japanese natural.

I lent them because they are my least favorite. It still burns my bum though...

Better yet, when he gets it, ask to borrow it. LOL
