The blade has Valet cut into it. A quick search of fleabay reveals that you can "buy it now" a new pack of blades for $15. You aren't going to get set of stones or even one finisher for that little...buy new blades!
The easy road is rarely rewarding.

Thanked: 0All right thanks! As long as they are sharp, I can keep them sharp by stropping. And if buying new ones will be cheaper than going through the work I will do that.

Thanked: 1184You like using the old because they shave better than some new ones you tried ? I hear many of the newer are different so you may want to try several brands. Save those old guys for retirement :<0)
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

SE razor blades are meant to be disposable. In my opinion, trying to hone one is almost like trying to hone any other disposable razor blade made today, utterly pointless.
When I first read your post, I thought you were referring to straight razor blades, which of course can be honed. This is because the steel of straights are of a quality that it can maintain an edge, and also because there is physically enough steel to hone.
