Thread: Gathering for North Carolinians (and anyone else who wants)

What time are people thinking? Any preferences?

On a selfish note, I just picked up a couple hones. If anyone has a flattening stone that I could use, I would appreciate it if you'd bring it. I recenlty tried flattening a barber hone with wet dry sandpaper and it was not fun. I'd like to try a new method if possible. Hopefully I'll see a bunch of you soon.

I can bring a Norton flattening stone. I don't have a big preference on time, as long as it's not too early.

Are you implying that there is some other type of bar-b-q? Give me a minute while I sweep up some gray matter, as you just blew my mind.

How does 1 p.m. sound for the time? If you haven't already, don't forget to pm me for my address. It's probably too complicated to coordinate food and drink, so if you're coming feel free to bring anything you'd like, but nothing is necessary.

It seems like people are not going to be able to make it today. I'll be home just in case someone shows up, but it looks like a no-go. People seemed interested in the idea, so perhaps this will happen in the future. I'll leave it to someone else to organize.

I didnt get back in to town last night until 11pm, but I would be interested if this NC gathering happens again.
