Thread: Show off your craftiness!

I don't have pictures of my craftiness, but if you could see some of the rigs I've pulled on cars, motorcycles, and bicycles, you'd think I was a crafty god
The two things I can do that I'm probably most proud of is building custom computers for any applications and doing composite work. I build the computers from scratch and typically include some sort of custom windows environment.
On the composite work, I've built and repaired some cool stuff. I did a lot of work on some secret government recon stuff which was cool for about 10 minutes then proceeded to be the biggest pain in the ass for a few months. Some of the materials I've been able to work with have been really neat. Fiberglass and carbon fiber are no big deal- ceramic cloth and kevlar are the awesome materials you don't see often. Sadly, no pictures though I have a carbon project I'm hoping to finish soon. When/if I get it done, I'll post it.
Otherwise I just do the handy stuff. I love to work on cars and do repair type things, but not a whole lot of actual fabrication activities. I imagine though that when the day comes that I have a shop full of tools again that I will rectify that situation

Thanked: 22Wow you guys really are talented.
I'm not really in the habit of photographing my stuff, so don't have a lot to show you. However, I will show you some of the work from my latest hobby. Probably get a lot of boo's for this, but I can handle it.
The first pair, although hard to tell due to poor lighting are made from blue tigers eye with the larger beads being red tigers eye. The blue shows up better in the last pic.
Second pair is made from brown tigers eye, again the larger beads are red tigers eye.
For some unknown reason a few weeks ago I felt the urge to make a pair and then I found it so relaxing and enjoyable I had to make more.
