Thanked: 324I can tell you I'm very happy with the Sandalwood soap I got from Taylor of Old Bond Street. Ray's Classic shaving soaps are very good and at their price, they're a great value, but I do have to say that paying 3 times more for the Taylor of Old Bond Street soap turned out to be money well spent. I don't mind paying more for a really good product and I feel that's exactly what I got.
I think you'll love the stuff you're getting from them and I'm anxious to hear what you think about it compared to others you've tried. I'm always open minded about trying new stuff.

Thanked: 4I can't vouch for Taylor's soap, but their shaving cream is awesome. Just a tiny bit on the end of your brush gives you a couple of facefuls of long-lasting lather. The nice scents are an added bonus. Definitely money well spent. I also bought a tube's worth of Mr. Taylor's for the road.

Thanked: 0I recieved my samples from taylors. They sent me a sample of sandalwood cream and Lemon lime Cream. I like the sandalwood better than the lemon lime but I must say, I bought some "beumont & bay" shaving cream from www.shavinggallery.com and it is FAR better than the Taylors stuff. It doesnt dry out nearly as fast and the smell lasts much longer. I accually bought it from the store since it is about 15 miles from my house. Next time you need some nice cream, give it a try. They have 2 scents, Im not sure about thier other scent but the beumont and bay is like sandalwood (I think better). Im not sure if they give samples or not but you could try to email Lauren.
