Very nice article and in the times non-the-less. We need more positive articles like this.

Realising the err of my ways I started mining my own ore so I can make my own car on which I can change the oil. I guess I'll have to hold off with the shaving altogether until it's done because it has been quite a awhile since I threw out my old beard removal utensils stuff.
I even took my YP-P3 media playing device to the shop where I bought it in order to have it fixed when I broke it.

How I managed all this time boggles my mind.

I don't change the oil or wash my car. If I had asked his opinion before taking up a str8, I wouldn't be here. He's discouraging people from even trying who might have liked it. It's stupid.

I appreciate the humor, I really do! But the article presents it as serious advice, which it isn't.

I read the last line and thought "What a f***ing b***h". Seriously. If a wife thinks it's all well and funny to pull "fun tricks" like that, she shouldn't be surprised to find herself on the receiving end of "fun tricks" as well.

The funny thing is, I WASN'T a DIY type until I started straight shaving. It seemed to bring out hidden reserves of independence...If The good Mr. Dupont had interviewed me, I probably would have failed the test.

And as for changing your own oil...does anyone do that anymore? My father was a mechanic, for god's sake, and he didn't even do it himself--it was cheaper and faster to take it to the shop and let them take care of the oil disposal.

Woah...you know it was a joke, right?

    Wow...

What do you do with the oil afterward? Are you a "follow the letter of the law and handle it as a toxic substance" guy or a "let's do everyone a favor and dump it on the dirt road to keep down dust" kind of guy"?
